Ever since the inception, ReshaMandi has garnered more than just revenue; it has garnered a lot of accolades and awards for being a Start-up with grounded vision and a highly relevant use case. And the list only grows bigger.
On January 15th 2022, followed by ‘Innovation for New India: Interaction of Honorable Prime Minister with Startups’, a virtual conference where we got to present our ideas and vision before the Startup India Hub, we were awarded at the National Startup Awards 2021.
The Government of India recognised ReshaMandi as the emerging game-changer in the silk supply chain; this time by honouring ReshaMandi with the National Startup Award. We are humbled to have been identified and encouraged for our efforts and success in digitising the silk supply chain and creating India’s largest B2B marketplace for the fibre.
For the uninitiated, Startup India Hub is a one-stop platform for every stakeholder in the country’s Startup ecosystem to exchange knowledge, interact and create successful business partnerships in an extremely dynamic environment, and is an initiative of the Indian Ministry of Commerce and Industry. The National Startup Awards seek to identify and reward exceptional startups and thought leaders that are shaping economic dynamism by fostering innovation and imputing competition. It considers businesses with innovative solutions, potential for scalability and opportunities for high rates of wealth creation and employment generation. Its measure of success tips more towards a start-up’s ability to contribute for a greater social impact. And that is precisely the reason why the Government of India has chosen ReshaMandi for the accolades.
ReshaMandi, the winner of National Startup Awards 2021
Reshamandi has won the National Startup Awards in the Agricultural sector under the ‘Farmer Engagement and Education’ category, and rightly so. With AI and IoT led digital eco-system for the entire silk supply chain, from farm to fashion, ReshaMandi values every stakeholder from the supply chain and enables them to increase their produce and conveniently carry out sales; namely the Sericulture farmers, reelers, weavers and retailers. Besides providing market rates and increased margins to farmers even during COVID scenarios, ReshaMandi also strives to avail best prices for its every stakeholder at all times.
We have so far reached the lives of 50,000+ stakeholders from across the Indian Natural Fibres sector; and from all over the country. With the dedication of 300+ Humans of ReshaMandi, today we have been able to operate in 1000+ pin codes across Karnataka, Andhra, Telangana, Tamil Nadu, Maharashtra, UP, Delhi, Madhya Pradesh, Bihar, and West Bengal. Our relationship with our stakeholders that is the 38000+ farmers, 4800+ Reelers, 5500+ weavers and 2700+ retailers is what makes us who we are.
